Gourds are a fascinating medium to
use to create art. The gourd is related to the squash and when dried is very
durable and wood-like. Native Americans and other cultures have used them for a
variety of functions such as bowls, spoons, planters, birdhouses, pipes, baby
cribs... and the list goes on. Please take a look at the gourds I have painted
